*Matthew 28:19 - Teach all nations and baptize them - Baptizo in Greek means: Immerse; Plunge under

*Matthew 3:13-17 - "And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water."

*Mark 1:1-11 - "And straightway coming up out of the water .... "

*John 3:23 - John the Baptist baptized where there was much water

*Acts 8:26-40 - Phillip went down with the Ethiopian eunuch into the water to baptize him

*Col. 2:6-12 - "Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him .... " The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the bell tower of a Cathedral whose baptistry was a place where, until the 15th century, Catholics baptized by immersion

*Acts 16:16-34 - "Believing in God with all his house" Only those who believe are ready to be baptized

*Acts 8:12 - When they believed, then they were baptized

*Galatians 3:26-27 - "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."

*II Cor. 5:17 - "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature."

Galatians 2:20 - "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me ...." 

*Col. 3:1-3 - "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,"

*Acts 22:16 - "And now why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized,"

Rev. 1:5 - "Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,"

*I Peter 3:21 - "Baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,)" Baptism is an outward sign of an inward work of grace

I Cor. 10:1-4 - God even had a type of baptism in the Old Testament

*Acts 18:24-28; 19:1-5 - Nothing was wrong with John's baptism - Jesus received that baptism There were some who were rebaptized when they understood God's way better

I Cor. 12:13 - "By one Spirit are we all baptized into one body,"

*Acts 10:44-48 - "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost"

*John 3:5 - "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

*Ephesians 4:4-5 - "One Lord, one faith, one baptism."
